The Scorpion team has been testing the Audi Q5 for a few weeks now, and we think we’re on to something special. This is not your typical SUV; the Q5 is streamlined, agile and offers the exceptional performance of a moderately sized car, with the space of a much larger model. We tested the range including direct injection TDI and TFSI engines.
The Audi Q5 is a quick, reliable and contemporary family car with plenty of space for a reasonably small SUV. With a 540-litre boot capacity with the seats up, 1560-litre with them folded, the Q5 has five seats and is perfect for days out with the family while also offering a speedy and exciting drive. The interior is beautifully finished with lots of attention to detail.
Driving the Q5
With decent engines across the range, the four-wheel drive system offers accurate steering and firm control, with a smooth ride and good ground clearance. All are reasonably quiet when in motion, with excellent capabilities in difficult conditions such as snow and sand. ESP is also standard across the range, coming in handy if you want to venture off-road.
Running the Q5
Achieving a five-star safety rating when tested by Euro NCAP, the Audi Q5 has impressive handling with low fuel consumption at an average of 41.5mpg with 159g/km of CO2 emissions. Additional touches, such as 18-inch alloys as standard, give the vehicle even more desirability, with the S Line and S Line Plus models accommodating even larger wheels. The Q5 is a luxurious and reliable family car with added thrill for an exceptional driving experience.
Leasing the Q5
Whether for personal or business hire, the Audi Q5 range proves an efficient and cost-effective vehicle for contract hire and leasing. Scorpion provides highly competitive leasing deals and special offers for the Q5 range, taking care of your entire vehicle management and leasing service and reducing your monthly car lease payment.
